Regarding the Lincoln Assassination…

Bloomsday and, of course, Father’s Day. To all our five or six followers out there, at least one or two of whom have got to be Dads, good job.

Picture snapped at current Lincoln Exhibition at Reagan Library.

Free ones: Rundown…

Belmont 5, 9
Calder 1
BFHollyPark 6

Pay-side: Today…

Arlington 6, 8, 9
Colonial 3, 8
Churchill 5, 7
Golden Gate 1, 4, 5, 8
Lone Star 2, 7, 10
Monmouth 8, 9, 10

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Looks good for a nonfavored Default Exacta Box in Bel 7, the Bit of Whimsy: #3 Caroline Thomas, #4 Magnificent Shirl.

Uh-oh. Triple Threat Horsey status falls upon #8 Include Me Out in Hol 8, the Desert Stormer.

Mth 10 on the pay-side. Mth 11 is the Grade III Pegasus. Looks like a showdown between the two faves. Sorry.

Excellent randomness on offer in ArP 8, the Molly Brown. Pick any set of numbers, but we go with #1 Lady Contender, #6 Jet Blue Girl.

Ditto Beulah 7, the Gendelman Mem. #2 Gold Baron and #10 Tsunaami Stu are no worse than any of the others.

All right, all right, ya chalk-loversz! Rui 8 has #5 Unfettered ready to provide your validation!

Yesterday’s Activity: Runner-up finishes included LaD 6, Time and a Half, 10-1. Winner was not a LifeLine qualifier, so no saver.

CD 4 had the Bonkersmate Shaker Village, 15-1 on the morning line and 46-1 at the off. A cheap thrill ensued as the ’Shaker was the top Mover through the opening six furlongs. This was contrary to the LifeLiner line of 63-62-82. Could not find the winner. Sad.

Winners included Second Bonkersmate Miss Mulligan in LS 7, $23.80; 12-1 morning (LifeLiner array of 63-64-91). Again, no good on the exoticsz.

First-timer Oroluce scored at a bet-down $15.80 in WO 4.

Two races before that one, Plenty Elusive had the frontrunning LifeLiner scoreline of 99-99-82. Good enough. Ten-to-1 on the morning line and 7-1 at the off. $17.60 was the winning mutuel. First Bonkersmate Magic Stripe was a firster with 15-1 odds on the morning line and 27-1 on the tote. The connection line on him was a satisfactory 14-11-33, and Magic Stripe did run second, completing a winning $315 Bonkers Exacta Box.

Finally, here’s somebody who was very excited…
