As they say, all the greats make it look easy. You watch this Golf Tournament on Television, and your mirror neurons are firing like crazy. Especially with that super-hi-def slo-mo replay of how the whole upper body pivots as a single entity at the waist, the head completely still and quiet, only turning forward after the arms have swung through, the wrists held high and together about the ear for the follow-through. Your mirror neurons are screaming, “I can do that!” And then you head to the nearest driving range and you realize your overoptimistic mirror neurons are not strong enough to overcome your halting and awkward gross motor skills. Sigh.
