National Unplugged Day from sunset to sunset. Untether yourself from the gadgets, gizmos and other electronics. Convenient for the Hebraics in that it falls on the Shabbat Shalom, the 24-hour period when many of them are wont to do this anyway. How does it always seem to work out for them like that? They know what they are doing! Conspiracy! Rothschilds!

Here’s the shegetsz R.E.M. band from Athens in Georgia, U.S.A. They were trendy and hip in their day, but not in the effete, weepy way these emo kidsz are right about now. And skinnie jeans? F that!

Free ones: Rundown…

Sunland (deputizing for unplayable Aqueduct) 6, 10, 11
Gulf 4, 6, 10
Santa Anita 3

Pay-side: Today…

Tampa 10
Hawthorne 2, 5, 9
Oaklawn 1, 2, 6, 8
Turf Paradise 3, 6, 9
Turfway 7, 9
Sam Houston 5, 7, 10

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: There was one today in GP 9. At the time of this post, 17 minutes remain prior to its post time. It looks formful. Maybe tomorrow, when the usual full docket of added-money events rolls in.

Yesterday’s Activity: Cannot get arrested at Santa Anita. But that’s nothing a little streaking in the infield can’t cure. Streaking! What are we, back in the 1970s? Groovy, dude! Freedom Rock!

Ho-ho. Not much better at Gulf. It took Saved the Best for (the) last race on the card to come through, even then at a relatively miserly 5-1. But beggars cannot be choosers. This one was 10-1 on the morning line.

Fifty-fifty split for last night’s “Nocturnal Submission”. The hit (at Chas. Town) made up for the miss (at PennNat). You can sense the fervor here: https://cynthiapublishing.com/hp_wordpress/2013/02/28/first-post-thursday-february-28-2013/. Scroll down to the bottom containing the vox populi, all two of them! Too small to fail!

WMF Report:

Early
Hawthorne 6f
Los Alamitos 4½f
Laurel 6f
Sunland 6f
Tampa 6f
Turfway 6½f
Turf Paradise 6&frac

Nocturnal Submission: We try again at the PennNat, Race the Sixth (8:16 p.m. EST / 5:16 p.m. PST). As long as you are still plugged in, you may yet get to enjoy the forecast Bonkers-friendly scenario shaping up between #8 Golden Fire and #10 Springingintherein. …If not, a good yontiff anyway. …

Thank you. Best wishes. Goodbye. Shalom. Salaam. Allahu akbar.
