Today’s Stakes Pageantry: There were seven scheduled for the Continent today, and one of those was the fifth at Fair Grounds, the La. Futurity. The overwhelming 4-5 morning-line fave was #4 Sittin At the Bar, and V6 did not disagree one bit. All the chalkistas went home with one last odds-on score for 2012, $2.60 to win. Yow!

V6 was hot for #7 Hot Fun in Race 4 at the Laurel, the Md. Juv. Filly Ch. S., and that one ran second, at even-money, to the second-choice in the wagering.

Finally, the Kruytbosch Memorial was the eighth at TuP today, and we went a-flyin’ on #2 Migiwewin; no good. We drink Champagne tonight anyway.
