bimboa

A Welcome Migration…

Bimbo. Bimbo should take over Hostess. Bimbo has a fine track record of taking over distressed bakeries and not ruining their signature products.

Remember, they took over the Tasty Baking Co. in Philalala, Penna., and the Butterscotch Krimpets and Peanut Butter KandyKakes still taste pretty good.

Free ones:

Aqueduct 4, 6, 8
Calder 4, 6, 9
B** F*** Hollypark 3, 6, 7

Pay-side: Today…

Churchill 3, 5, 6, 9
Woodbine 3, 4, 5
Laurel 4, 6, 8
Hawthorne 2, 7, 8
Remington 6, 7, 9
Retama 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: There was a dilemma in Race 2 at the Aqueduct today. The top selection was #2 Color Blind, fair odds of 6-5 on the Betting Line, morning-line odds of 15-1. Hmmmm. However, the exciting new LifeLiner Speed Column Analysis was not so enthusiastic: 60, worst number in the five-horse lineup. On the other hoof, eventual winner #1 Miss Valentine was fourth-ranked on the Betting Line — without fair odds, even! — yet the exciting new LifeLiner Speed Column Analysis put her at the top, with the notorious 99 rating, the only horsey scoring 80 or better in that regard. Now what?

WMF Report:

Early
Hawthorne 6f
Turf Paradise 6f

Rally
Woodbine 1 1/16m (WMF 22)

Nocturnal Submission: Come on, you Jonah! Bring us a winner. State-subsidized selections need to deliver some kind of return. Secession Now! It Worked For The Native Americans, It Can Work For Their Conquerors Too! All right, all right, ya Manifest Destinists! Let’s go to the Delta, Race 11 (11:20 p.m. EST / 8:20 p.m. PST), in which #10 Gator Chomp will try to win it for the Terrible Tebow.

Thank you. Best wishes. Goodbye. Take care now.
