Just for the fact that he will drink beer, Rommey’s opponent has to be considered much more normal than Bishop Rommey himself. Again, people who do not drink must be viewed as taking themselves more serious than is good for them, a la H. Galt & J. Roark. In real life, Don Trump, Harry Reid, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Adolf, Che, T. Cruise…you get the idea…

H. Bogart and Hemingway had it more right than many will give them credit for. Bogart went so far as saying he could never trust a man who would not drink. And for good reason! Those are the guys ready to take advantage of you as soon as you start drinking! They will never give you the benefit of their vulnerability. Harvard U. had it right…in vino veritas. Truly, could you trust Bishop Rommey or any of the other nondrinkers on the aforementioned list? Nevah!

Certainly, to not drink is to forego the possibility of an elevated state of humanity. For frack’s sake the great Greeks and esteemed Romans had gods for this kind of thing, that’s how fundamental it was.

And now: no more gods or patrons for music or poetry or wine, all of which some crazy cultists would like to outlaw. Not practical enough. Not pragmatic enough. No need to replenish the soul, get into the spirit. Rather, there’s room now only for man, man only, to serve Moloch & The Almighty Dollar Sign. We don’t need the Sign of the Cross any longer, only the Sign of the Alimighty Dollar. Amen.
