When you drive here in the great La-La Land, surprises abound. Priuses (no, not Prii, ya hipstersz!) shooting out from intersections — impressive acceleration for a vehicle whose engine is silent! Then there’s the PTA mothersz who boss the road in their Volvos (what else?), free to be reckless because all that unibody construction will keep them safe in any collision.

Of course, wake up early enough and wind your way through Coldwater Canyon and you just may see that Jay Leeno (Leeno!) guy pull up alongside you in one of his reclamation projects, such as the Stanley Steamer. No Rommey (Rommey!) bumper stickers have been espied here in greater Studio City, though.
