Dream Team 2011?

It’s official. This U.S. professional gridiron team is the Manchester City of the NFL, its MC Hammer. Money’s no object.

But will they have the chemistry? At least in American-style throwball, the concept of the team is better-developed than it is in American-style hoopball. You can’t expect Awesomeugha to pick the ball off on every play.

These spendthrift approaches to team-building seem impressive, but they don’t quite maintain. A little moneyball, rebuilding on the fly, is more impressive and dynastic. After all, check back in even two years from now and see where all these acquisitions will be. Gotcha! It’s like that in racing: Juddmonte > MC Hammer > Eugene V. Klein…always. The philosophy trumps the personalities. Thank you.
