Your Sunday Stakes Sweep: July 3, 2011

The Grade III Chicagoland is Arlington’s seventh, and it’s available from the pay-side.

The fourth at Belmont is the Grade II Futurity, and it’s up for grabs on the free page.

Mild upset call to #3 Say a Novena in the Grade II Matron, Belmont’s eighth.

However, the chalk looks too strong in the ninth there, the Grade III Bed o’ Roses. (That chalk is #6 Hilda’s Passion.)

A dirt stakes at Colonial! That’s the ninth, the Chesapeake, and #5 Immortal Eyes is prohibitive.

Another mild upset appears in #3 C J Russell, third-choice on the morning-line in the Grade III Jersey Shore (Presented by Yum Brandsz, Snooki & The Sitch). It’s Monmouth’s ninth. But in the 10th, the Miss Liberty, normal service should resume via favored #4 Gypsy’s Warning.

The contentious stakes race of your Sunday comes courtesy of Woodbine, where the eighth is the Bison City. There, #5 Niigon’s Touch cannot be counted out.

Thank you. Best wishes for a prosperous Sunday now.
