Have you ever lost 26 in a row?

Unless you are in a cult, you probably would have to admit as much. Amway, Scientology, The Certain Methodoxology, what’s the difference?

But when a collective of 12 tall gentleman have reached the end of 48 mins. on the basketball court and wound up with fewer points on the scoreboard two baker’s dozen times consecutively, well, now that takes talent — or, truly, a lack of it. All the talents really were taken to South Beach!

Here’s to you, Cleveland Cavaliers 2010-2011! A longshot streaker’s type of team! Kudos!

The free ones are promising

Rundown
Aqueduct 3, 5, 6
Gulfstream 2, 4, 6
Santa Anita 4, 6, 8

The money race today is the sixth at Ozone Park, N.Y. Hit that one, and you’ll be in the clear for your afternoon. As well, you can never rave enough about the consistently excellent cards on offer over at the track they call the ’Gulf. Mr. Lebron James made the right call. He chose correctly the quality Thoroughbreds of South Florida over the Flying Turns of Northfield Park. Yes! And it counts!

Hire side…

Rundown
Laurel 5, 6, 8
Tampa 2, 4, 8
Fair Grounds 2, 3, 5
Golden Gate 6, 7, 8

With the races off the turf at Tampa and Fair Grounds, sadness abounds. Yet, looking at the weather radar map of the North American continent, there’s not a cloud in the sky from Port Hueneme to Sheepshead Bay! Boo!

Track-trends: Two-turn rally alert now at Aqueduct, where the 1m70y comes in at WMF 17. …Still OK at Chas. Town and the 4½f there. …Don’t forget that WMF 5 (5! 5-dollar footlongs!) at the ’Gulf, 1m (T). …Laurel 6f OK on the lead. …Sorry, only one triple-digit WMF at Santa Anita (WMF 300 at 7f). …

Thank you, and best wishes.
