Snow day at the Big A!
You always have some diversions handy when the elements strike, so instead of having a blank day at Snowzone Park, N.Y., we transfer the action to the slightly warmer climes of Houston, Tejas, for the Opening Night festivities at the racetrack they call the Sam Houston Race Park.
As always, we are small enough to be nimble enough to change on the fly, as long as you play at home and can click the refresh button on your computer, or take us with you via your mobile. (Yea, verily, we are nimble in this regards; unfortunately, ponderous and dilatory in many others. Regrets!)
Via computer or the mobile, the free selections are here:
Rundown
Sam Houston (deputizing for Snowzone Park, N.Y.) 3, 7, 9
Gulfstream 5, 7, 9
Santa Anita 4, 6, 8
Full slate for your for-hire stabs:
Rundown
Laurel 6, 8, 9
Tampa 5, 9, 10
Fair Grounds 1, 5, 8
Oaklawn 2, 6, 9
Turf Paradise 4, 7, 8
Turfway 4, 6, 11
Track tendencies: Sunland back open today, and the 6f dominated by the front at WMF 216.
P.S. Blow up the new Amerika’s Idle television program. Blow it up. You need a little bite, some acid to counteract all that sweetness and light, and Botox Tyler is not caustic enough…too much histrionics plus a crooked face botched by all sorts of youth-regenerating experiments gone awry. Blow it up. Make that little birdie Ryan Seacrest fly away. Instead, watch quality television such as the Australian Open tennis tournament with all-time top players such as Kim Clychesters and Rafa The Bull Nadal on display every night. Blow up that sissie Federr, however…blow him up. Make that sissie snob Federr fly away with his little birdie friend Ryan Seacrest. Blow them both up. Make that sissie Federr fly away with his little birdie friend Ryan Seacrest. Simon Cowell #1 always! Piers Morgan #1 always. Jackie Evancho #1 always! Rafa The Bull Nadal #1 always! Vamos!
Thank you, and have a nice day.
