Your Saturday Stakes Sweep: Nov. 13, 2010

Yeah, this is the first Saturday of the rest of our post-Zenyatta lives. We’ll get you through it.

All right, all right, ya Blame-lovers! Time to move on!

Over at the Aqueduct, it looks good for the upset in the eighth, the Grade III lun-GUY-land Handicap, for #6 Sweet and Flawless.

Churchill‘s ninth is the Grade III Commonwealth Turf, and it’s a doozy. Bonkers trizacta box Hail Mary for the threesome of #7 Mister Marti Gras, #4 Guys Reward and #10 Thunder Brew. Dream up your own longshot trio!

It’s a day full of stakes at Calder, but here’s the ninth, the Juvenile Fillies Turf for Fla.-breds. Low-priced contender #9 Blue Eyed Sweetie has the goods. One race later, the 10th, #3 Trip for A. J. should be legit in the Distaff. Likewise, the 11th, the Classic sees #1 Riversrunrylee as a solid up-top choice.

More potential single activity in the eighth at Hollypark, the Turf Cup, where #6 Marlang seems the one.

At Turf Paradise, it could be more solitary support in the eighth, the Chandler Bing.
There, #2 Hot Fusion is the one to defeat.

And this week’s Extra for Experts comes after dark at Remington. The eighth is the OK Stallion Fillies, and the horse there is #1 Miss Kipling. The next race is the OK Stallion, and #6 Smiles Ahead should run to that billing. Both are odds-on on the morning line. Ah, well.

Thank you, and best wishes for a prosperous Saturday!
