Yesterday’s Activity: Contentious race, two LifeLiner qualifiers, so it was a slam-dunker Bonkers recommendation in Sunland 5. Top seleciton Simply Source, 12-1 on your morning line, was your bet-down winner at $13.40; as they say in the grandstand, “Better than getting your eye poked out with a sharp stick!” Somewhat. Interesting to note that the runner-up was 52-1 and the show-horse was 14-1; wide-open, but unfortunately no reads on either of the other two trizacta-fillers. Also interesting to note that the actual race fave, 1½-1 on the toteboard, ran ninth of 12, ignored by both the V6 Betting Line and the LifeLiner. Good to know.

As always, Welcome to The Home of The Runner-up Finish, this time led by Fort Bowie in the opener at Turf Paradise, 14.80-1 actual from an 8-1 morning line. ’Bowie was a firster in a contentious race, and your race winner was the 2-1 co-fave, unwanted by LifeLiner. Ugh.
