Shalom from Israel now. After three days in Tel Aviv, on the fourth day we rose to make a day-trip to Jerusalem. TLV –> JLM. You know, destruction of temples, Crusades, 20th-century street-level combat: the most-contested of all contested places. And, as depicted in the snap shown in today’s lede, the site of a Messiah / Savior / Redeemer or just plain prophet or even mob-condemned criminal fulfilling his scriptural destiny. Who knows?
