Continue readingWe already know what happened to the Phillies. And your Iggles are looking pedestrian from the top down so far in this season. (But, hey, at least they’re not Jerome Jones, Dak Prescott & The Rest of The Cowgirls!) The Sixers might finally get into the latter stages of the playoffs, thanks to the addition of Paul George and the subtraction of Tobias Harris; but they won’t start their regular season for a couple of weeks yet. That leaves us with the Flyers, and early on in the current campaign, they have looked way-better than they have shown in the past couple of years. Offering the most hope to the Delaware Valley big-league ice-hockey faithful is the presence of two Russian teenage rookies who have much talent & potential: Jett Luchanko & Matei Michkov, the latter who played last night and tallied his first two of what very well could be many NHL goals. Ladies & gentlemen, Matei Michkov…MICHKOV!
