Your No. London Arse had their chances early on to get on-terms in this Champions League semifinal tie; however, the opposition ’keeper denied those opportunities, and when his own team had their rare cracks at goal, they knew how to convert them to goals. When it could have been 2- or 3-nil to the Arsenal, it instead somehow read 2-nil to the hosts, Paris Saint-Germain, whose aggregate lead was 3-nil for most of the evening. The Gunners snatched back a late consolation, but over the two-leg matchup, the better team got the result, and advances to the Final against Inter Milan at the end of the month. Our valued destiny comes to nothing, again & again…

Been really dreary out here in erstwhile sunny Southern California the last four or five days now; however, normal service should resume starting tomorrow with a bright, warm day, with that condition stretching until at least the weekend. Patience, grasshopper!

However, there were many other races on-offer beyond this Derby, so maybe there were a few ho-hum contests to counteract THE BIG AGONY OF DEFEAT IN THE BIG AMERICAN HORSE RACE!

Yo! Kentucky Derby Day tomorrow. Maybe one of these seven races will pad the Saturday bankroll. That is, at least, the intention & the hope. Hope!
