A couple of results to report from last night’s (Monday’s) late editions: at New Cumberland, W.Va., Race 4 was won by #5 Man On the Moon (.377 Win Prob / 1.65-1 Fair Odds / 2.10-1 Premium Odds) for Neil Armsontrong & R.E.M. at $6.20 after a last-minute race-surface-switch & a slew of llate-scratches etc. resulting in a four-horse field. In Race 6 there, it was #4 Soupersilverdollar (.278 / 2.60 / 3.32) grabbing the gold at $9.20.

Your Fort Erie, Ont., opener had #6 Truly Mischief (.234 / 3.27 / 4.13) and #3 Forest Buzz (.213 / 3.69 / 4.63) combining on your winning $76.70 exacta whose premium price was $46.50. In Race 5 there, #5 Hard Performer (.295 / 2.39 / 2.86) was too difficult for her rivals to handle at $8.60.
#6 Ky O Sister (.272 / 2.68 / 3.30) took the Collinsville, Ill., opener at $9-even. In Race 7 there, #4 Two Step Jake (.160 / 5.25 / 6.50) displayed some quality hoofing in a $16-even upset.
Another opener, this time from Bossier City, La., where #1 Spiders Revenge (.201 / 3.98 / 4.97) spun into the winner’s circle at $17.20.
