The best cross-training (we say it, anyway)

Summertime, pretty much, so we’re back in the Cynthia Publishing Co. Executive Swimming Pool just about daily, even after other athletics.

Everything feels better after the usual regimen of laps. Posture improves, the spine lengthens, the midsection hollows-out, the abs threaten to show themselves. It’s like active pilates / stretching, but with a little cardio component plus the bit of resistance provided from pulling the strokes through the water. As well, the nighttime slumber improves dramatically.
