One post-press-time connection to report from last night’s (Tuesday’s) action: At St. James-Assiniboia, Man., Race 5 went to #5 Prairie Drifter (.365 Win Prob / 1.74-1 Fair Odds / 2.29-1 Premium Odds) at $12.20.

As for today (Wednesday), some of the races went this way…

At Cincy Zinzinnati Porkopolis, #5 Mamba Forever won Race 4 for the late, great & unfortunate Koobie Brian at $19.80.

Over to Louisville, Ky., for #8 Steampunk (.282 / 2.55 / 3.26) and #4 Rose Alabama (.270 / 2.70 / 3.44) combining on your winning $71.12 exacta whose premium price was $28.94.

Race 8, the finale, on the Stanton, Del., card had #7 John’s Promise (.179 / 4.59 / 5.70) was fulfilled with a win at $16-even.

In racing from Canandaigua, N.Y., #1 Bert Bert Bert (.242 / 3.13 / 4.79) won Race 5 for Ernie Ernie Ernie at $13.20.

#3 Tiz Bayou (.276 / 2.62 / 3.35) took Shelbyville, Ind.’s Race 4 at $9-even. In Race 7, #6 Goodlookinjustice (.245 / 3.08 / 3.90) did not win it for either C. Thomas or Sam. Alito at $10-even.

It was #2 Dare to Wish (.456 / 1.19 / 1.63) not needing to hope in a win in Race 2 at Bossier City, La., at $6.40; completing your winning $18.20 exacta was #3 Be Bo (.265 / 2.77 / 4.28), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $17.21. In Race 4, #1 Everylittlesingh (.281 / 2.56 / 3.27) won it for the Indian subcontinent at $15-even; completing your winning $41.20 exacta was #5 In B. J.’s Honor (.435 / 1.30 / 1.76), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $18.05.
