At Florence, Ky., it was another Race 5, this time won by #2 Double Overtime (.392 / 1.55 / 2.06) at $8.44.
As for today (Thursday), it was another full slate.
Starting at Ozone Park, N.Y., another Race 5, this time won by #1 Collected Special (.215 / 3.65 / 4.58) at $12.60.
To New Orleans now for yet another Race 5! #5 B Fifty Two (.577 / 0.73 / 1.08) overcame a field lousy with first-timers at $5-even.
Would you believe the next one is in yet another Race 5? Believe it, sister! This time it’s the one in Hallandale Beach, Fla., where #4 Rough Draft (.261 / 2.83 / 3.60) nonetheless was polished enough to deliver a triumphant story at $23.40.
Sunland Park, N.M., broke the spell via its Race 2; in it, #5 Baja Boogie (.140 / 6.14 / 9.00) won it for the California Peninsula at $23.60.
Another Race 2 to report, this time Florence, Ky.’s, in which #5 Favorite Haunt (.400 / 1.50 / 2.00) scared-up the score at $6.50. Later there, it was #2 Janey Creed (.259 / 2.86 / 3.63) affirming her belief in a $20.84 win in — yup, you guessed it! — Race 5!
On Bell Rd., Phoenix, #8 Corn Pop (.157 / 5.37 / 7.92) won Race 6 for Joe Biden Snr. at $23-even; completing your winning $116.20 exacta was #4 You Enjoy Myself (.198 / 4.05 / 5.06), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $95.99.
