In Race 7 at Oceanport, N.J., #7 What’s Up Mr. Z (.221 Win Prob / 3.52-1 Fair Odds / 4.43-1 Premium Odds) got the W at $25.20; completing your winning $119.40 exacta was #4 Irish Rill (.182 / 4.49 / 5.59), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $58.38.
At Saratoga Springs, N.Y., site of equine carnage & human heartbreak the past two days now, #4 Brightwork (.237 / 3.22 / 4.06) made sure the show kept going on in Race 8 at $12.20. In the finale, Race 10, #3 Forward Move (.340 / 1.94 / 2.53) was in front of the decimated, off-the-turf field at $7.80.
Finally, over to Etobicoke Int’l. for Race 2 there; in it, #2 Gatling Gun (.278 / 2.60 / 3.32) fired best at $24.70. Then in Race 6, there were a couple of first-time starters entered, but if you had some disdain for those and also some not-unfounded bravery, then #11 Jumbotron (.182 / 4.49 / 6.69) showed-up big for yourself at $35.50. Later, #4 Rapid Test (.205 / 3.88 / 5.83) quickly aced Race 8 at $20.80. Finally, Race 10 ended at the mouth of #11 Speedy River (.178 / 4.62 / 5.74), who returned $22.20 up top.
