Blooming

You can’t really tell, but the purple blossoms are out, here in downtown Studio City, at the Beeman Park tennis courts. Jacaranda season has begun. Yes!

Lots of star-sightings today. Your boy Peter Wentz of the The Fall Out Boy, then Edward Begley Jr. on his bicycle down Beck Ave. But again, it is the jacarandas emerging that gets us most excited. They’re always visible in the Valley and lower elevations first; still waiting for the ones in front of the Home Office here in Upper Nichols Canyon to show up.
