Kevork K. Kanine, Mascot & Talisman, laying out after selecting more winners than his human master

Lucky again?

Better yesterday, some signs of competence, or else the randomness bestowing some mercy upon us. Five selected from Chas. Town & Sam Houston Race Park & Hippodrome Emporium yesterday, and that led to six win-overlay wagers, no dice.

On the public-pick page, it was Turfway 7, which produced three win-overlay winners, one of whom, #10 Kitty’s Promise, won by a clean head at $35.20 up top from a slash line of .108/8.26/11.96

Then in the last-out race from Chas. Town, the eighth, two win-overlay opportunities came up from four contenders. The winner was the better-than-fair-paying #3 Count the Shells at $13.40; the slashline there was .198/4.05/5.06.

Looking good so far today, for the balance, are Aqueduct 8, Golden Gate 6, Santa Anita 8, 9. Uncertain regarding the public-pick page or the Twitter share later, but they’ll be coming after the bulk of the afternoon cards has been completed.

One good way to find out in time is to sign-up for the Twitter feed over here: follow us on the Twitter feed. Then we can blast you all the propaganda, bad picks, occasional surprise and general madness as they happen, to the moment.
