Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day now. Perhaps you already know that Armenia was the first Christian nation. You could look it up.
As well, from the Upper Nichols Canyon Neighborhood Ass’n.:
Also, as today is the day to honor and remember the Armenian Genocide, there will be 2 large street marches. The first is currently underway in the east part of Hollywood, involving Hollywood Boulevard and Normandie Avenue and Sunset Blvd, west of Hobart. This is expected to go until 3 pm The second will begin around midday at the Pan Pacific Park on Beverly Blvd and will end at 6300 Wilshire Blvd. This will involve 3rd Street around The Grove and Fairfax. Suggest you avoid the area as it will be very congested. LAPD says the affected streets will be closed until 6pm tonight.
