One more 90°F-plus day today (Friday), and then we point the skis downhill; down to high temps in the upper 70s°F all next week. Huzzah!

Today:
As you may have noticed, probably not, we have been hot lately for using the Comments Section as a depository for the horse recommendations, which might come at any time, sort of like a seam on the freeway that magically glides you past any gaper blocks or Sig Alerts! You never know when you’ll encounter one. Tough to say. We leave it to Yahweh, Allah, Buddha, Brahaman, etc. Thank you!
OBTW bob nutting owns the Pirates.
What about Paul Mellon, Andrew Carnegie, Darby Dan, etc.? Also that television programmed called This Is Us, you ever run into them down there in Pgh., Penna.? Thank you.
P.S. What about Jeopardy Jm. Holzhauer over there in Las Vegas, you run into that guy, too? Thank you!
Looks like heavy weather this evening at Delta, and maybe even at Remington. Can’t take any chances. Have to stay here in the warm, sunny and Golden West.
But not Santa Anita. That’s a death track right now, literally and figuratively. Hard to play five-horse fields on a Friday. There’s no market for that.
Rather, it appears Northern California and Southern California have swapped functions and reputations. The good action and activity are all up there. It’s nice to see. They don’t try too hard. They’re not all smug and self-congratulatory up there; down here, with all the media influences and beautiful haircuts, they make glad-handing insider-type videos to show how great they are, over here in Southern California. Very corporate, very polished and slick. You can buy it, but we don’t have to. Lots of sizzle to sell five-horse fields! You can be part of that club. We don’t have to buy it. Glad-handers! Trying too hard with beautiful haircuts and perfect teeth.
Anyway, we want the grit, the honesty, the wabi-sabi. For this reason, we will be heading to Golden Gate Fields this afternoon. Races 1, 3, 4, 5, 7. Do it. Golden Gate. Nice place. Honest feelings.
