Thankful & grateful (redundant?) that we never had to spend Thanksgiving in Reno. God is Good.
However, there were more than a few fine Thanksgivings at the original, pre-incendiary Fair Grounds in New Orleans, plus the late, lamented Hollypark in Inglewood, Calif. Both were nice places to have Thanksgiving in the Big City.

Town 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, Golden Gate 3, 8, Laurel 9 all look good from the table, maybe less so in the bellie. Aqueduct 8 has the afternoon’s high win-probability on BestLine, at 44pc. Thanksgiving in the Big City, spend it at Fair Grounds or Hollypark. Do not spend it in Reno, Nev. Spend it in the Big City at Fair Grounds, at least.
