Opening Night
Good contest at the arena in DTLA (for the uninitiated, ‘Downtown Los Angeles’) last night. The local big-league ice-hockey club began its 2018-19 regular-season schedule by hosting the team from San Jose.
The visitors broke out to a 2-nil lead, which the home side erased by the opening minute of Period 2. The teams played a scoreless third period before the deciding goal went in after 3 mins. of the overtime. Final score from the arena in DTLA: San Jose 3, La-La Land 2. Fine entertainment.
