Belmont (1/1) — Race 8 was not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers noticed the field-best 80 on the LifeLiner Spread Column on My Sweet Girl; she did not go gate-to-wire, but she won on the rally anyway, by a clean neck, and paid $31.60. Good work.

In the noncontentious finale, another publicly touted horse, Slan Abhaile, had something for all the High-Octane Chancers, Old-School Champeens and Progressive-Minded Eggheads alike: he was top of the conventional Betting Line at Fair Odds of 2½-1; as well, he had the unassailable 99 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis.
