know nuthin bout Gentl Jim. I want to talk about black Eye susan winner Keen Pauline and reason I bet Pauline again after Kee. I had a race horse buddie Pauline Keen”e” an older lady my mothers age who loved the ponies. As a young man she would take me with her to Latonia, usually on weekends. In her later life she failed to put her car in park but instead in reverse. As she stepped out of the car and took foot off brake the door knocked her down & some how cut her leg. Guess who was driving past to get grannies walnuts to get them hulled in her rusty bottom garbage cans. Granny was a saver! The honeyman was gonna save the day! The car was drivin itself in reverse in a circle, comin closer to Pauline with each lap. I drug her out of the way but could not get in the car because of the open door and the speed. There was a railroad tie across the street. I brought it across and the 3rd round got it under the tire. After her recovery I took her to Kee. Still screamin “Pleez” #3 come on now!! You never had to guess who she had her money On. She thanked me forever. Long live Paulines memory. Maybe it was her runnin?
Rainin again here. Gonna put honey supers on today. Did I tell about all the experimental “Pot” growin next door at Rickards Tobacco Seed Farm. Mari-hoochie Honey Is what I’ll have. It was growinn last year without my knowin. Maybe that’s why everyone enjoyed it. More tales next rainee day.
