That reminds me of “spelling bee” in 4th grade when Boys VS. girls is at its highest peak. HONEYMAN versus Kathy “WISE” shoulda known then. All boys one side of room rootin for HONEYMAN the other side lined with girls in their little gunny sack dresses screamin for Miss WISE. The word that devastated me “biscuit”!!! Left out the U!!!! That ended my world. Had nightmares, my brother would wake me up at night because I would be yellin the word biscuit & then spellin it B-i-s-k-i-t / B-i-s-k-i-t / B-i-s-k-i-t!!!!! It didn’t end there>>> Decided to shove girls on ground as I swarmed by the swings where THEY hung out. As I made my 3rd pass, the old right foot gave way and as I tumbled in the dirt with ankle agony, the skirtz stomped and kicked me into submission!!! The humiliation hurt much more than the ankle, limping back to schoolhouse with tears in both eves. The End
