Yesterday’s Activity: Two tracks, four races, five touted horseys, one of whom won the eighth at the Zia.

Ryxena was top of the Betting Line by quite a bit (Fair Odds of 9-5 vs. 4-1 for the second-top) and second best LifeLiner Speed Column number in the field. At 8-1 on the morning line, Ryxena looked tasty, and the appetite was only further whetted when Ryxena flashed up at 11-1 on the toteboard, more than twice the price of the next-highest-priced runner.

Ryxena ran to her LifeLiner array of 92-92-83 in going gate-to-wire en route to a nearly 3-length win at $25.20 in the five-horse field.
