Watch It Wiggle…Halloween Gelatin!

They have a good Band of Brothers over there in New Orleans. They call themselves the Beta Tau Chapter of the Zeta Psi Fraternity of North America, U.S. Reg. Pat. Off. Inc., and they are based at Tulane. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Jesse Jackson would approve of this group — they are diverse! Unlike the many racist and exclusionary houses, the Zeta Psis are believers in the Big Tent. Sadly, this does not put them in a good way with the beautiful and talented Southern Belles of Kappa Kappa Gamma or Chi Omega on campus. Pity.

Anyway, we are eternally in debt to the self-styled Zetes (pronounced ‘zates’, long a) for their contribution to tidy on-the-go drinking: Electric Jell-O. In the spirit of the day, we have decided to go with the dependable orange colour and flavour. Cheers!

(If memory serves, William F. Buckley’s hero-spy Mr. Blackford Oakes was Zeta Psi, too, though at the Yale chapter. Now you know!)
