The Hollywood Bowl atmosphere & energy are always top-notch, because the outcomes are known, and the people want to be there, unlike, say, at a movie theater when the picture disappoints, or at the stadium or arena when the home team comes up short.

The first was for stepgrandaughter, approaching the big oh-four in age; the second was for longtime family good guy who just completed his last year of secondary education and is taking his serious lacrosse talents to Amherst, Mass., in the autumn. To both these top-character individuals who would never need to hate people different from themselves just to feel better, salute! Good job.
