Hey! How ya’ doin’ over there? Not even out of the first week of November now, but it feels like every remaining big thing for the rest of this year has just happened in the last five or six days: Breeders’ Cup, World Series (hoo-boy, a seven-game no-vanilla thrilla!), off-year elections, the return to standard time, etc. Really, we might as well just fast-forward to Turkey Day, have a one-week breather after that, and then zoom directly to Dec. 25. Who sez no?!

A day of spiritual observances now, and as always at this here Web log, we mark the First of November by remembering to share this gorgeous tune with you.

Good to know that the kids are still driving us toward the vibrant, vital language of our times, even if the words themselves are numerals and, odder still, have no real meaning!
