Tonight marks the first time since 2018 that your La-La Land Los Kings of the big-league ice hockey ass’n will participate in the Stanley Cup tournament. They go to Edmonton for Game 1 of the best-of-seven opening-round series, with the puck dropping at 7 p.m. PDT. In this video lede, we see Dustin Brown Sr., the captain of the two title-winning Kings teams, in 2012 & 2014, lead the team one last time in his final regular-season game just a couple of nights ago. The emotions were high, and the hug from Kopi brought out even more feels.
Dustin Brown will always be The Captain, just like Derek Jeter will always be The Captain. It’s just how it is.
