Well, friends, that’s just how we roll. That, and, well, you don’t want to have a bunch of selections for races taken off the turf. Plus the soft-a-ware’s output can shift dramatically in the face of a bunch of late scratches, no?<\/p>\n

Of course! So that’s part of the reason for the daily tardiness with the picks. It’s wet today in Florida, and the slight lag-time in posting comes in handy “For such a time as this”, as is written in Ye Olde Testamente. The later publishing time gives us an outlook based on what’s going on today<\/em>, not 24 hours beforehand, when the elements (!) of weather and the composition of the starting gate are not fully known.<\/p>\n
