Sharapova.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yesterday&rsquo;s Activity<\/strong>: As always, Welcome to The Home of The Runner-Up Finish, this time led by sole-touted Let Th Kitten Purr in Turfway 6.<\/p>\n<p>Let Th Kitten Purr, 20-1 on the morning line and 17&frac12;-1 in real life, was neglected by the conventional V6 Betting Line but received some hope via his status as one of three qualifiers (80+ score) on the LifeLiner Speed Column. He closed sufficiently to run second, beaten 3&frac14; lengths.<\/p>\n<p>The race winner, complete LifeLiner array of 99-99-98, ran to that characterization, leading all the way at the delectable odds of 7-10! The backup exacta, odds-on over 17-1, was $44.40 in the 10-horse field. <\/p>\n<p>The rest are winners.<\/p>\n<p>Starting in Aqueduct 8. That was won by Herbal Prospector. He was not assigned Fair Odds on the V6 Betting Line but did easily pass muster via LifeLiner Speed Column, rated 99 on that measure. The Betting Line configuration deemed the race contentious, so Herbal Prospector snuck into the reckoning.<\/p>\n<p>Herbal Prospector, 10-1 on the morning line and 10&cent; shy of that on the tote board at the close of betting, ran gamely throughout, leading clear at the eighth-pole before hanging on at the wire by half a length at a win mutuel of $21.80 straight. <\/p>\n<p>Two in a row at Gulfstream, Races 8 &#038; 9, a natural double, inch-perfect, fortunate.<\/p>\n<p>Race 8 had sole-touted Dream With Us scoring coast-to-coast by a rapidly diminishing head at 8-1, $18-even up top.<\/p>\n<p>Dream With Us, top of the V6 Betting Line and top of the LifeLiner Speed Column, ran to his complete LifeLiner profile of 99-99-99. He was 8-1 on the morning line, too, so kudos to the linemaker there.<\/p>\n<p>Race 9 had Medal Count on top of the V6 Betting Line, 8-1 on the morning line but bet way-down to 2-1 in real life &mdash; so, no kudos to the linemaker there, in this instance; we revoke the kudos! &mdash; had to rally to finish in a flat-hoofed tie with some crazy 53-1 horsey. So the juicy $6.20 win mutuel on Medal Count shrank to $3.80! Well, at least he tied.<\/p>\n<p>The daily double in Races 8 &#038; 9, one of two paid on that wager, returned $26-even. Dead-heat, dead mutuels! Well, at least he tied in the first place. In the first place.<\/p>\n<p>Opener at the Fair Grounds had Burn Rate rallying like an inferno to win by a hot head at $27.60.<\/p>\n<p>Burn Rate, top of the V6 Betting Line in a contentious race and OK on LifeLiner Speed, was 8-1 on the morning line but nicely higher at the end, closing to his composite LifeLiner of 60-79-86. <\/p>\n<p>Finally, a KING OF THE NETCAPPER BULLIESZ special in Oaklawn 9. Thank you, Allah. It&rsquo;s been a long time, so Allahu Akbar!<\/p>\n<p>Signature Event, 20-1 on the morning line and similarly ignored by the V6 Betting Line, nonetheless qualified for consideration by registering the highest LifeLiner Speed Column score in the field, 96.
