That phrase, ‘ -eatersz’, comes in handy, often. Back when the Pilipinas was under American Colonial Rule, the Great White Overseers used to address the locals, directly, to their small, brown faces, “You rice-eatersz!”.<\/p>\n

As well, Louis Armstrong can be heard on one of his recordings of “Way Down Yonder in New Orleans” calling the home folks in the audience ‘gumbo-eatersz’. <\/p>\n

So, yes, the ‘ -eatersz’ construction has had a long and interesting history. Use it to your advantage to forge an emotional bond with your audience. For example, in Montreal, ‘poutine-eatersz’. In Toronto, ‘[bleep]-eatersz’.<\/p>\n
