This is worth an encore! How is it possible to have so much talent and beauty in this kind of package? Can we next see her in &ldquo;The Devil Went Down to Georgia?&rdquo; The heart beats faster just thinking of it. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><em>Chicken&rsquo;s in the breadpan, picking out dough&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>As for the entirety of the BlueManGroup extravaganza this past Friday night, it was good if for nothing more than the unceasing percussion and the sheer volume of the electric instruments made one forget to listen for the droning helicopters and small aircraft buzzing overhead.<\/p>\n<p>Many will consider the reworking of <em>Bolero<\/em> with musical handsaw, sitar, rollerblading electric guitarist, beatboxer, bagpipers and shofar-blower (Happy Jew Year!) to be tops.<\/p>\n<p>However, for fetishists of lounge music such as ourselves, it was the space-age rendition of <em>Jalousie<\/em> that topped the evening. Esquivel himself would have been proud, and indeed there was an appearance by four Zuzu singers unlocked at the appropriate stage in the song from an equipment locker marked &ldquo;ZUZU SINGERS&rdquo;. <\/p>\n<p>In general, the performance was a fine vehicle for indelibly good and funny memories, the sort of which marathon viewing of <em>True Bloodsz &#038; Crypts<\/em> and <em>The Game of The Thornsz<\/em> and <strong>Dexter the Blood-Spatter Inspexter<\/strong> are not likely to provide. Maybe <em>Angry Advanced Anthropoids<\/em> would make for better watching. It&rsquo;s hard to say.
