Again, we figure you are good enough at handicapping to be able to do that for yourself. We prefer the fat prices.<\/p>\n<p>So it was hard for us to get excited about eventual winner Sofie&rsquo;s Pearl at 5-1 on the morning line. Just a matter of touting principle. Yet the Tejas (Tejas!) crowd and the rest of the mopesz let Sofie&rsquo;s Pearl off at 9-1.<\/p>\n<p>Umm, yeah. That&rsquo;s a good play in real life, according to the real odds on the real toteboard, considering that Sofie&rsquo;s Pearl had the untoppable 99 in the LifeLiner Speed Column in a contentious race. Boo on you, Lone Star track oddsmaker! <\/p>\n<p>So, yes, this is why you really need to get this and be doing it for yourself. We can take you only so far. Or maybe all our clients are really saying, &ldquo;Take me to Howard Sartinez&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, yeah, some winners: Race 7 at Arlington, Bonkersmate Salutethehero, 8-1 on the morning line and 12-1 at the off. Top LifeLiner Speed in a contentious race, $26.20; another LifeLiner qualifier completed the exacta, $260.40; familiarly, the show-horse did not co&ouml;perate.
