They rise late. They don’t even select the proper issues! Damn you, Boys In the Backroom! Go back to sleep!

Ah yes, they’ve royally mucked things up twice now for your Sunday morning (Pacific Daylight Time), and brunch isn’t even over yet. How does this happen?

Rather, you should get the V6 soft-a-ware and HDW downloads yourself so you can choose the right horses and buy the winning tickets on your own.

The first example came just before half past noon o’clock on the Right Coast. Because of the golden slumbers of the boys, they were unavailable to post Calder, Race 1, as a Live Longshot race. Yet there it was, if you ran the numbers on your own, without their misdirection, that #10 Hollemans came up straight on top, 8-1 morning line.

Of course by now you must know how it turned out. Earl Hollemans goes off at twice the morning line and wins, returning $35.60 to win. How do you miss that one? Someone should shake those Boyszzz up and tell them, “Hey! Get your lazy tookuses up! You can rest when you’re dead.” Slackers!

Once is OK, but twice is unforgivable. A similar situation unfolded in the fifth race at the Aqueduct, another maiden turf tossup. Unfortunately for many readers, the Boyszzz were awake and alive to make some pronouncement on this one, rendering it the Bonkers Box race and throwing up (!) two crazy runners, 12-1 #10 Dixie Cowboy and 15-1 #8 Risker.

Well, they were lured in by the promise of big prices on the toteboard, what with the high morning-line forecast. And they were not disappointed. The horses, however, were loath to comply. Not even on the board! Boo! Refund! Boo!

Sometimes you can overcomplicate things, and that’s how the Boyszzz made a hash of this one. While they were out scouting for the biggest prices on the morning line, they blithely ignored the top runner, #7 Tag V Eye, on the classic V6 Betting Line. Why shouldn’t they? After all, the 10-1 morning line on ‘Tag was only 10-1. And the race was contentious. Go for the price, not for the top!

That’s great when it works, but by now you must know how it turned out — again! Yea, verily, #7 Tag V Eye went off at twice the morning line, nearly 25-1, really, and won straight, coming back $51-even for each $2 ducat.

The moral of the story is you would have had these bombers on a straight reading of the V6 output — that is, if you had the output. You can do it. Do it now. The nice peoples at the Cynthia Publishing Company have a big Holiday-type Sale going on this minute. This is better than a funny necktie or a bottle of English Leather. This is better than that Snuggie or that Chia Pet you’re bound to find in your stocking. DIY and take some satisfaction and pride of ownership.

It will pay you handsomely, especially if you get up at a responsible hour! ’til then, best wishes for a prosperous Sunday, the remainder of it!

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[11
8,13,9,14,12
post-374","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news","tag-analysis","tag-commentary","tag-free","tag-human-interest","tag-news-2
["GET
