A week of goodbyes continues. Sunday it was maybe the greatest Los Angeles King, Mistah Anze Kopitar, putting in his last shift on the ice, getting his stick taps from friend & foe alike, with even the officials standing in applause. Today, it was a much less ceremonious so-long to Philalala Phillies Manager Rob Thomson, who had to be the fall guy for the team\u2019s current status as doormat & basement-dweller among MLB teams. Who\u2019s next?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

One late-issue from last night\u2019s (Monday<\/strong>\u2019s) action: at New Cumberland, W.Va.<\/strong>, #6 Take Charge Gent<\/strong> (.275 Win Prob \/ 2.64-1 Fair Odds \/ 3.36-1 Premium Odds) ran to that billing in Race 7<\/strong> at $35.40<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for today (Tuesday<\/strong>), some of the races went like this…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Canandaigua, N.Y.<\/strong>, your Race 8 finale<\/strong> had #5 Saratoga Banker<\/strong> (.415 \/ 1.41 \/ 1.75) winning it for the Spa at $6.74<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Collinsville, Ill.<\/strong>, #1 Takethesilver<\/strong> (.225 \/ 3.44 \/ 4.20) actually grabbed the gold in Race 7 finale<\/strong> at $25.40<\/strong>; completing your winning $101.40 exacta<\/strong> was #5 Stagflation<\/strong> (.280 \/ 2.57 \/ 3.18), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $35.11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Cornwells Hts., Penna.<\/strong>, Race 4<\/strong> saw #4 Nit Witness <\/strong>(.306 \/ 2.27 \/ 2.82) having the keenest eye for victory at $7-even<\/strong>. Then in the Race 9 finale<\/strong> there, #1 Psalmist<\/strong> (.210 \/ 3.76 \/ 4.71) won it for King David at $19.80<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
