It\u2019s been summertime hot here in La-La Land, Southern California, over the past two days, with the thermometer hitting the low-90s \u00b0F today, with still a half-hour to go before the 3 p.m. PDT hour \u2014 so think how hot it must be down in the Valley!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Anyway, when the world is running down, you make the best of what\u2019s still around, so we flipped-on the pool heater for the weekend, because one day in Project 2025 U.S.A., you\u2019re swimming laps, and the next day you\u2019re being shanghaied into an unmarked van for involuntary relocation to Central America, just because of the slope of your eye or the swarthy skin on your physical body. So you take every opportunity you can, straight away, to squeeze out what\u2019s left of enjoyment & relaxation before the for-profit forced-labor detention centers come a-callin\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then there\u2019s this guy in the photo lede, the world-famous Cynthia Publishing Company mascot Mistah Kevork K. Kevorkian, safe from the coming cull due to his nice white coloration and overall killer instinct, which was on display yesterday when this poor little nanosaur attempted to gain relief from the unrelenting noonday sun, only to walk into the false haven of the shade cast by the giant dinocanine. And nature being nature, it was all over but the thrashing of the reptile within the bite of the mammal. The resulting rending saw the two halves of the reptile shoot off in different directions. The End!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
