The associated app was not much either: balky, crashy, frequently comatose. The batteries also were starting to become problematic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But it nonetheless chronicled a lot of activities &amp; voyages: Hawaii, Aspen, Israel, etc. And it was good enough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new one is like future-shock. For one, there\u2019s no special housing needed to waterproof the camera. For another, there\u2019s screens &amp; feedback &amp; touch-based input galore. Good battery life, and a much better app experience, too. We look forward to many good years of memory-making via this new camera.
