It is timeless.<\/p>\n<p>NFL is big and bloated, a monolith corporation, mindless, Moloch, Mormon Inc. NBA is too angry, too tattooed, all &rsquo;tude.<\/p>\n<p>Football and basketball used to be keep-your-head-down team sports, a slap on the rump for congratulations. Now you just can&rsquo;t get enough attention drawn to yourself. It&rsquo;s ridiculous. <\/p>\n<p>The less hip and cool a sport is, the better.
