A few post-press-time connections to report from last night\u2019s (Friday<\/strong>\u2019s) late action: At Chas. Town, W.Va.<\/strong>, Race 8<\/strong> went to #11 Shewonttalktome<\/strong> (.450 Win Prob \/ 1.22-1 Fair Odds \/ 1.67-1 Premium Odds) at $11.80<\/strong>. At Grantville, Penna.<\/strong>, the finale<\/strong> went jointly to #2 Sultry Sally H<\/strong> (.158 \/ 5.33 \/ 7.86), who was 38-1 on the toteboard<\/strong> but paid only $32.60<\/strong>; a couple of exacta collections<\/strong> with co-winner #4 Tilted Tiara<\/strong> (.145 \/ 5.90 \/ 8.66): the 2-4 exacta paid for $339.40<\/strong> off a premium price of $151.85; the 4-2 exacta paid $185.80<\/strong> off a premium price of $153.45. At Florence, Ky.<\/strong>, #6 Not So Easy<\/strong> (.174 \/ 4.75 \/ 5.90) took Race 7<\/strong> at $29.84<\/strong>. In Race 9<\/strong> there, #6 Cairo\u2019s Ghost<\/strong> (.111 \/ 8.01 \/ 11.61) scared-up a shock at $25.22<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for today (Saturday<\/strong>), it was very nearly an everything-must-go extravaganza ahead of our weeklong working vacation: Aqueduct, Delta, Fair Grounds, Gulf, Oaklawn, Santa Anita, Tampa, Turfway \u2014 count \u2019em! Eight for the mythical price of six! Such a deal!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting with Race 2<\/strong> from Ozone Park, N.Y.<\/strong>; in it, #8 Midnight Express<\/strong> (.210 \/ 3.76 \/ 4.71) won it for Billy Hayes & Brad Davis at $12-even<\/strong>. In Race 6<\/strong>, #2 Liberty Central<\/strong> (.201 \/ 3.98 \/ 5.97) won it for the City of Philalala, Penna., at $14.20<\/strong>. In Race 8<\/strong>, #5 Super Chow<\/strong> (.261 \/ 2.83 \/ 3.60) ate \u2019em up at $10.20<\/strong>. Next race<\/strong> there, #8 Uncle Heavy<\/strong> (.173 \/ 4.78 \/ 5.94) was too much for his foes to bear at $20.60<\/strong>; your winning $92.50 exacta<\/strong> was completed by #4 El Grande O<\/strong> (.218 \/ 3.59 \/ 4.50), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $65.34. As well, your winning $88-even daily double<\/strong> on those two races had a premium price of $63.84.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Race 2<\/strong> at Hallandale Beach, Fla.<\/strong>, #2 American Speed<\/strong> (.217 \/ 3.61 \/ 4.53) ran to that billing at $17.60<\/strong>; completing your winning $126.40 exacta<\/strong> was #6 Alexis Zorba<\/strong> (.315 \/ 2.17 \/ 2.81), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $34.51. In Race 10<\/strong>, #4 R Harper Rose<\/strong> (.442 \/ 1.26 \/ 1.71) got the W at $6.40<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To Hot Springs, Ark<\/strong>., now for Race 4<\/strong>, in which #2 Mr Fillip<\/strong> (.344 \/ 1.91 \/ 2.49) and #3 Run Jalen Run<\/strong> (.235 \/ 3.26 \/ 4.11) combined on your winning $29-even exacta<\/strong> whose premium price was $25.44. In the finale<\/strong>, #4 Machine Gun Man<\/strong> (.133 \/ 6.52 \/ 9.53) mowed \u2019em all down at $26.20<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Race 8<\/strong> on the Arcadia, Calif.<\/strong>, card went to #6 Goliad<\/strong> (.299 \/ 2.34 \/ 3.01), who won it for Tejas (yeeeeeehawwwwww Tejas!) at $12.80<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Oldsmar, Fla<\/strong>., finale<\/strong> went to #1 Never Explain<\/strong> (.224 \/ 3.46 \/ 4.36) at $10.80<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
