Are we stunted like that, or is it that we prefer the eternal &amp; long-lasting over the faddish? Fads are bad! Crypto, NFT, fidget-spinners, the Macarena&#8230;ALL BAD! Stay away from fads &amp; the people who are claiming to have the Holy Grail or proclaiming themselves to be the New Messiah. No good, Chollie, no good. Fads are bad; stay away. Look for the things that are quality &amp; eternal &amp; that will last a good bit of time, like 40 yrs.\u2019 worth.<\/p>\n<p>So, same songs, but way-different externals! If you told us 40 yrs. ago we\u2019d be listening to this song, OK; fair enough. But if you bet us that we\u2019d be listening to it while swimming laps in a David Hockney-adjacent swimming pool at the top of Nichols Canyon beneath midcentury eaves on a brilliantly golden &amp; sunny day in La-La Land, well, hey. We would have booked that wager \u2014 and we would have lost!<\/p>\n<p>As the lyric in the song goes, <em>Everything is possible<\/em> \/ <em>In the Game of Life<\/em><\/p>\n<p>But the catch is, you have to stay in the game in the first place. Stay in the game!
