Final show of the subscription series at the amphitheater, postponed to last night due to someone in the group catching the Covid on the night of the original July date. <\/p>\n

The duo performed before the intermission, and they played all those folk-type numbers they were known for. Messina broke out a mandolin, so you knew it was the wholesome part of the show.<\/p>\n

After the restart, it was Loggins solo, and he dutifully performed his most popular hits, which  the Boomer majority of the audience faithfully did their bourgeoisie bodily motions to. Or something like that. The encore was reserved for \u2018The Footloose\u2019 and then \u2018The Danger Zone\u2019; during the latter, Loggins cheekily ad-libbed \u2018I want my MTV\u2019, and at this we were mildly abashed! We no longer can underestimate him.<\/p>\n

Today we went to a drier Belmoduct and a temperate Woodbine.<\/p>\n
