We have mentioned many times in this here space how the Merriam-Webster 365 Words-a-Year Page-a-Day desk calendar has proven prescient if not downright psychical. Well, here\u2019s the latest example…RECRUDESCENCE…<\/p>\n

If Wm. F. Buckley Jr. were a presenter on the Fox News Channel, we certainly would have heard this word by now, \u2018recrudescence\u2019. But we do not expect hearing it today or ever from Hannity or Ingraham, etc. It\u2019s likelier we will see a living-and-breathing John F. Kennedy Jr. do a tap-dance on the Tucker Carlson programme than we will hear anyone on Fox News (or, for that matter, CNN or MSNBC) utter the word \u2018recrudescence\u2019. Wm. F. Buckley Jr., where have you gone? Come back down (or up) and show your people what\u2019s what!<\/p>\n
