In this case, it was a blessing to be living in La-La Land, where the right and, typically, best doctors are always, at most, a 30-min. drive away, south on La Cienega to Cedars, or else west on Sunset to UCLA, etc. An even bigger blessing was that the good people at the Retina Vitreous Assoc., specifically Dr. Roger L. Novack, were a straight-shot trip down Riverside to Coldwater Cyn. — a 5-min. spin max, even in traffic — and that the extended Cynthia Publishing Co. family had already been in his expert and generous care for many years.<\/p>\n

The neck, back and shoulders, especially on the right side, are slowly unknotting themselves from a week’s worth of face-down torture.
